Campello sul Clitunno is a comune of the province of Perugia, it is here where the sources of the Clitunno river are situated. Near-by is the Little Temple of the Clitunno, probably one of the oldest monument in Umbria.

From the architectural point of view there are the Campello Alto and Pissigano Alto castles, not too far away from the Flaminia road. Towards the Valnerina valley there are Agliano and Acera, two small towns with a romantic and suggestive atmosphere to visit with your soul mate.

The “Lovers Balcony” is right across the first drop of the Marmore’s Fall, inside the imposive waterfall and you will need a raincoat to be able to get inside. It is a small terrace located at the end of the homonymous tunnel ( “ Lovers tunnel”) embedded in the travertine stone a few steps away from the Fall.

Why is it called “Lovers balcony”? Because it is the favorite spot of young people and because the Marmore’s Fall is connected to San Valentino, first bishop of Terni ( III sec. d.C.) protector of the city and young lovers.

A stroll along the Lake Trasimeno banks is what you need for a relaxing walk. Among the many towns that are situated along the river, we suggest to visit San Feliciano, a small neighborhood of Magione, few kilometers away from Perugia.

The Trasimeno Lake is an attraction for nature, photography and beautiful scenery lovers. It is a place where we can admire the most suggestive sunsets. For the romantic people it is ideal to walk around the sunset hour to have a background that inspire sweet sentiments.

When the Castelluccio’s plateau is full of flowers one can breathe a romantic and relaxing air.

The ideal period to live your romantic dream in the center of Italy, between Norcia and Castelluccio is between the end of May and beginning of July when it is possible to admire the flowers of Castelluccio at its best.
