An art exhibition dedicated to the artistic genius of Luca Signorelli, celebrated Renaissance painter, opens on April 20th (closing estimated date is August 15th) in Perugia. Umbria is about to turn on the reflector lights on one of the highest geniuses of Renaissance painting: a master with an incisive denotation, powerfully at ease with his unmistakable and thriving imagery. This exhibit will be Italy’s most important for year 2012, a cultural-event for which more less 100 paintings and 20 drawings will be gathered between the National Gallery of Umbria in Perugia and other venues in the lovely towns of Orvieto and Città di Castello.
