The 2013 edition of Umbria Jazz will take place in Perugia from July 5th till the 14th and will mark the festival’s 40th Anniversary: an extraordinary event not to miss out! More than 500 artists will perform both on stage and in the streets. There will be afternoon, evening and night concerts downtown and spectacular performances at the Main Stage (Arena Santa Giuliana) every night. Look for free concerts at the city’s most important theatres or for jam session in local joints: you will be literally overwhelmed by music (Jazz & non). Just to mention a few of the artists performing this year: Eric Clapton, Diana Krall, Sergio Mendes, Pat Metheny, James Brown, Paolo Fresu, Pino Daniele, Russel Malone and many more.
